The 1555RF42GY is the deeper general purpose ABS enclosure in the R size of the 1555F Series. It is intended for indoor electronics such as controls, keypads and circuit board assemblies that need a sealed 160 mm square housing with a wall-mount flange and extra internal depth.
Per the series table the 1555RF42GY measures 6.30 x 6.30 x 2.48 in (160 x 160 x 63 mm) not including flanges; the part page lists 6.3 x 6.3 x 2.46 in (160 x 160 x 62 mm). The drawing shows 200.00 mm [7.87 in] overall length with flanges, 178.00 mm [7.01 in] flange hole spacing, 62.50 mm [2.46 in] assembled height, 42.14 mm [1.66 in] inner box depth and 12.50 mm [.49 in] inner lid depth. P.C. boards up to 148 x 149 mm fit.
The material is ABS plastic with a UL94 HB flame rating and IP66 rating. ABS versions are for indoor use, are not UL listed, carry an IK07 impact rating per IEC 62262:2021 and are recommended for -20°C to +60°C (-4°F to +140°F).
A satin RAL7035 grey finish, recessed lid face, two-piece tongue and groove seal and loose-supplied silicone gasket complete the design. M4 stainless steel lid screws sit behind the lid in corrosion resistant inserts. DIN rail tabs are molded into the lid, and standoffs take #4 x 1/4" self-tapping screws for the separately sold 1555RFPL inner panel. Shipping weight is 0.31 lbs (0.14 kg).
