The 1555NF42GY is the deep, general purpose ABS enclosure in the square 1555NF size. With a body up to 63 mm tall, it gives indoor projects room for taller components, DIN rail devices and wiring in a watertight, flange-mounted housing.
ABS versions are UL94 HB rated, carry IK07 impact resistance, are not UL listed but have been tested to and meet IP66, and are recommended for indoor use at -20°C to +60°C. For outdoor or UL 508A applications, the polycarbonate 1555N2F42GY shares this size.

The 1555NF42GY comes with the styled box, flanged lid, 4 cover screws and a preformed silicone gasket. The lid screws are behind the lid and thread into corrosion resistant M4 inserts; recommended torque is 2.5 lbf-in (30 cN-m). Eight #4 screw standoffs, DIN rail tabs in the lid and the optional 1555NFPL panel handle internal mounting.
