Hammond 1555LGY 105x105x60mm Gray ABS Watertight Enclosure

The 1555LGY is the lower-profile 105 mm square general purpose ABS enclosure, measuring 4.13 in x 4.13 in x 2.36 in (105 mm x 105 mm x 60 mm). It suits electronics designers and integrators who need a small watertight box for a circuit board or a few DIN rail devices indoors.

It is molded from light gray RAL 7035 ABS rated UL94-HB. The styled lid seals through a two-piece tongue and groove joint and a one-piece, replaceable high temperature silicone gasket that is shipped loose in the box. The ABS version has been tested to and meets IP66 and carries an IK07 impact rating. Four M4 stainless steel lid screws are included; they are self-captivating, thread into corrosion resistant inserts, and should be tightened to 43-57 ozf-in (30-40 cN-m).

The drawing gives an interior of 97.36 mm long, 93.35 mm wide and 51.20 mm high, with room for a P.C. board up to 92.5 mm x 101 mm. Molded DIN rail mounting tabs, threaded M3 brass inserts, standoffs for #6 self-tapping screws and vertical card guides for 1.5 mm boards give several mounting choices, and the lid interior has its own #6 standoffs. The recessed lid face is sized for a membrane keypad or label.

Four 4.30 mm mounting holes outside the gasket channel allow wall mounting or fitting the 1554FT foot kit. Size-matched parts include the 1554LPL steel inner panel, 1554LGASKET gasket and 1554LCL clear lid. For indoor use from -20°C to +60°C; the UL listed polycarbonate version of 1555LGY is 1555L2GY.
