At 180 x 120 mm and only 46 mm tall, the 1555HLGY is the slim ABS member of the 1555H family. The light gray (RAL 7035) enclosure is aimed at indoor electronics where a flat profile matters, such as wall-mounted controls or board-level products with low component height.
Molded from general purpose ABS with a UL94 HB flame rating, it is intended for indoor use. It is not UL listed but has been tested to and meets IP66, carries an IK07 impact rating per IEC 62262:2021, and has a recommended operating temperature of -20°C to +60°C (-4°F to +140°F). The UL listed polycarbonate counterpart is 1555HL2GY.
Inside there is 173.09 x 113.09 mm of floor space and 36.95 mm of height, with a maximum P.C. board size of 106.68 x 167.13 mm. DIN rail mounting tabs, M3 integral brass inserts, standoffs for #6 self-tapping screws and vertical card guides for 1.5 mm boards are molded in; a 1554HPL steel inner panel can be added.
The purchased assembly includes the box, styled lid, 4 cover screws and a preformed silicone gasket, supplied loose for installation. The lid's recessed face takes a membrane keypad or label, and its M4 stainless steel screws are self captivating. Four 4.30 mm wall-mounting holes sit outside the gasket channel and accept the 1554FT foot kit.
