Hammond 1555B2F22GY 65 x 65 x 42 mm Flanged Polycarbonate Enclosure, IP68

The 1555B2F22GY is a square 65 x 65 mm polycarbonate enclosure from the 1555F flanged series, 42 mm high per its part data (43 mm in the series table). The base flanges bring overall length to 105.00 mm on the drawing and include four 5.00 mm holes for wall mounting. It is designed for harsh industrial or outdoor jobs such as security, outdoor wireless and controls.

Polycarbonate versions are UV stabilized, rated UL94 5VA and cUL and UL 508A listed under file E65324. They have been independently tested to IP66, IP67 and IP68 plus NEMA Type 4, 4X, 6, 6P, 12 and 13, and carry an IK08 impact rating per IEC 62262:2021 with a recommended range of -40°C to +110°C (-40°F to +230°F).

Four included M4 stainless steel machine screws sit behind the lid and thread into corrosion resistant inserts for repeated assembly; recommended cover screw torque is 2.5 lbf-in (30 cN-m). A two-piece tongue and groove seal and a one piece high temperature silicone gasket, supplied loose, keep out oil, dust and water. The satin RAL7035 lid has a 2.00 mm deep recess for a membrane keypad or label.

Inside, the drawing gives 33.38 mm box depth and 12.50 mm lid depth. DIN rail tabs are molded into the lid, and standoffs in the lid and base take #4 x 1/4 in self-tapping screws (1555TS100). Maximum P.C. board size is 54 x 54 mm, matching the 1555BFPL inner panel. The 1555B2F22GY is RoHS and REACH compliant, shrink wrapped and weighs 0.31 lbs (0.14 kg).
