Hammond 1555A2F22GY 52 x 50 x 40 mm Flanged Polycarbonate NEMA Enclosure

The 1555A2F22GY is the smallest polycarbonate enclosure in the 1555F flanged series, measuring 52 x 50 x 40 mm (2.05 x 1.97 x 1.57 in) without flanges and 84.00 mm long across the mounting flanges. Finished in satin RAL7035 grey, it is intended for harsh industrial or outdoor applications such as security, outdoor wireless and controls where a compact sensor board or small DIN rail device must be sealed.

The base carries wall mounting flanges with four 4.00 mm holes, and the lid screws sit behind the lid so the interior stays secure. Two included M4 stainless steel machine screws thread into corrosion resistant inserts for repeated assembly and disassembly, with a recommended torque of 85-92 ozf-in (60-65 cN-m). A two-piece tongue and groove joint and a one piece high temperature silicone gasket, supplied loose, seal the lid.

Polycarbonate versions are UV stabilized for outdoor use, rated UL94 5VA, cUL and UL 508A listed under file E65324, and independently tested to IP66, IP67, IP68 and NEMA Type 4, 4X, 6, 6P, 12 and 13. They carry an IK08 impact rating per IEC 62262:2021 and a recommended operating range of -40°C to +110°C (-40°F to +230°F).

Inside, the drawing shows 20.00 mm box depth and 11.90 mm lid depth, DIN rail tabs molded into the lid and standoffs for #4 x 1/4 in self-tapping screws (1555TS100). Maximum P.C. board size is 41 x 40.5 mm, matching the optional 1555AFPL steel inner panel. The 1555A2F22GY is RoHS and REACH compliant and weighs 0.11 lbs (0.05 kg).
