Hammond 1554XA2GYSL 300x200x120 mm Smoked Lid Polycarbonate Box

1554XA2GYSL pairs a deep 300 x 200 x 120 mm light gray (RAL 7035) polycarbonate box with a smoke polycarbonate lid. From the 1554 Series of screw-cover watertight enclosures, it is intended for mounting printed circuit boards or DIN rail mounted components in outdoor, wet or dusty settings where a tinted cover suits the installation.

Nominal dimensions are 11.81 x 7.87 x 4.72 in (300 x 200 x 120 mm). The drawing shows 119.73 mm overall height, 111.75 mm inside height, 289.09 mm inside length and 189.31 mm inside width. PC boards up to 285 x 174 mm fit on four M3 brass inserts or ten #8 self-tapping screw positions; molded DIN rail tabs, 1.5 mm card guides and an optional 1554XPL steel inner panel add flexibility.

The lid is fastened by six included M4 stainless steel screws that are self-captivating and thread into corrosion resistant inserts, sealing a replaceable one-piece silicone gasket in a two piece tongue and groove channel. The gasket ships loose. Recommended cover screw torque is 8-9 lbf-in (90-100 cN-m).

Polycarbonate versions are UV stabilized, tested to IP66, IP67, IP68 and NEMA Type 4, 4X, 6, 6P, 12 and 13, IK08 impact rated and cUL and UL 508A listed under file E65324. The part page lists UL94 5VA, and series data rates smoked lids UL94V-0. Recommended operating range is -40°C to +110°C. The four 4.39 mm wall mounting holes are outside the gasket channel; foot kit 1554FT-XY is listed for this size. Shipping weight is 2.86 lb (1.30 kg).
