Hammond 1554UA2GYCL 200x120x60mm Polycarbonate Enclosure, Clear Lid

The 1554UA2GYCL is a 200 x 120 x 60 mm watertight enclosure with a light gray (RAL 7035) polycarbonate body and a clear polycarbonate lid, so status LEDs, displays or indicators inside stay visible without opening the box. It suits OEM engineers, panel builders and integrators who need to house printed circuit boards or DIN rail mounted components in wet, dusty or outdoor locations.

The flat screw-down lid uses two piece tongue and groove construction with a replaceable one-piece gasket made from high temperature UL listed silicone; the gasket ships loose inside the enclosure. Four included M4 stainless steel machine screws are self-captivating and thread into corrosion resistant inserts in the lid, allowing repeated assembly and disassembly.

Inside, the box measures 192.47 x 112.47 mm with 53.60 mm of inside height, and accepts a printed circuit board up to 190.5 x 106.6 mm. Molded DIN rail tabs, vertical card guides for 1.5 mm boards, and M3 brass inserts (which also accept #6 self-tapping screws) give several ways to mount electronics. The optional 1554UPL steel inner panel is ordered separately.

The polycarbonate construction is UV stabilized for outdoor use and is cUL and UL 508A listed under file E65324. The part page lists an IP68 rating and a UL94 V-0 flame rating for this clear-lid version, and the series has been tested to IK08 impact per IEC 62262:2021 with a recommended operating range of -40°C to +110°C.

Four Ø4.30 mm wall mounting holes sit outside the gasket channel, and the same holes accept the 1554FT foot kit. Shipping weight is 0.78 lbs (0.35 kg).
