The 1554R2GYCL is a 160 x 160 x 61 mm (6.3 x 6.3 x 2.4 in) polycarbonate enclosure with a clear polycarbonate lid over a light gray RAL 7035 polycarbonate box. The see-through cover lets technicians check displays, meters or indicator LEDs without breaking the seal.
The clear lid carries a UL94 V-0 flame rating. Polycarbonate 1554 enclosures are UV stabilized for outdoor use, cUL and UL 508A listed under file E65324, rated IP68 and independently tested to IP66, IP67 and NEMA Type 4, 4X, 6, 6P, 12 and 13. The impact rating is IK08 per IEC 62262:2021 and the recommended operating range is -40°C to +110°C.
The drawing shows 152.91 x 148.91 mm inside with 54.00 mm of height, and the maximum PC board is 147.4 x 150.95 mm. DIN rail mounting tabs, threaded M3 brass inserts, standoffs for #6 self-tapping screws and 1.5 mm card guides are molded in; the 1554RPL steel inner panel is optional.
A two-piece tongue and groove lid with a loose-supplied one-piece silicone gasket keeps out oil, dust and water. Four included M4 stainless steel screws thread into corrosion resistant bushings (43-57 oz f-in recommended torque). Mount through four 4.00 mm holes outside the gasket channel or with the 1554FT foot kit. Shipping weight is 0.82 lbs (0.37 kg).
