The 1554Q2GYSL is a 140 x 140 x 60 mm (5.51 x 5.51 x 2.36 in) polycarbonate enclosure with a light gray RAL 7035 base and a smoked polycarbonate lid. The tinted cover lets status LEDs or displays show through while giving a more subdued look than a clear lid, a good fit for OEM products and field-installed electronics.
Like the other polycarbonate 1554 enclosures, it is UV stabilized for outdoor use, independently tested to IP66, IP67, IP68 and NEMA Type 4, 4X, 6, 6P, 12 and 13, and cUL and UL 508A listed under file E65324. The smoked lid carries a UL94 V-0 flame rating, the enclosure has an IK08 impact rating, and the recommended operating range is -40°C to +110°C (-40°F to +230°F).
A two-piece tongue and groove lid and a replaceable silicone gasket (supplied loose) keep out oil, dust and water. The lid fastens with four included M4 stainless steel machine screws into corrosion resistant bushings, torqued to 43-57 oz f-in (30-40 cN-m).
Per the drawing, inside dimensions are 132.36 x 128.69 mm with 53.70 mm of height. Molded DIN rail tabs, M3 brass inserts, #6 self-tapping standoffs and 1.5 mm card guides support boards up to 127 x 127.5 mm or the optional 1554QPL steel panel. Mounting holes (4 x 4.30 mm) sit outside the gasket and also fit the 1554FT foot kit. Shipping weight: 0.64 lbs (0.29 kg).
