Hammond 1554MPB20A 20-Hole Deep 22.5mm Polycarbonate Pushbutton Box

The 1554MPB20A pairs the largest hole count in the 1554 PB table, 20 positions for 22.5 mm operators, with a deep 1554YA body. At 4.72 in (120 mm) deep with lid versus 3.74 in (95 mm) for the 1554MPB20, it gives panel builders extra room for contact blocks, wiring and DIN rail components behind a full operator interface.

The light gray RAL 7035 polycarbonate carries a UL94 5VA rating and is suitable for outdoor use. Lid screws thread into integral stainless steel bushings and, like the mounting holes, sit outside the replaceable, preformed high temperature silicone gasket. The base includes internal DIN rail tabs, M3 brass inserts and standoffs for M3.5 or #6 self tapping screws, and card guides for 1.5 mm PC boards. 1554FT mounting feet are optional.

Series ratings are IP66 and NEMA 4, 4X, 6, 6P, 12 and 13. The drawing carries the cUL US Listed mark (E65324) and notes that the polycarbonate version is UL 508A approved. The 1554MPB20A includes box, lid, 6 cover screws and gasket and is RoHS and REACH compliant. Avoid acetone, thread lockers and strong solvents, which can damage the plastic.
