The 1554JL2GYSL puts a smoked polycarbonate lid on a light gray RAL 7035 polycarbonate box in the compact 160 x 90 x 46 mm size. The tinted lid suits small outdoor or panel-side devices where indicators should show through but the contents should look less exposed.
Smoked lids carry a UL94V-0 rating. The enclosure is cUL and UL 508A listed under file #E65324, UV stabilized for outdoor use and independently tested to IP66, IP67, IP68 and NEMA Type 4, 4X, 6, 6P, 12 and 13. Polycarbonate versions have an IK08 impact rating per IEC 62262:2021, and the recommended operating temperature is -40°C to +110°C (-40°F to +230°F).
The drawing gives inside dimensions of about 153.09 x 77.00 x 39.45 mm, with a maximum PC board size of 77.47 x 147.32 mm. Internal DIN rail tabs, M3 brass inserts, standoffs for #6 self-tapping screws and vertical card guides for 1.5 mm boards are molded in. Order the 1554JPL steel inner panel separately if needed.
Four self-captivating M4 stainless steel screws, included, thread into corrosion resistant bushings to hold the gasketed tongue and groove lid. The silicone gasket ships loose, with 1554JGASKET listed as its replacement and SC576-50 for screws. The 1554JL2GYSL ships shrink wrapped at 0.44 lbs (0.20 kg).
