The 1554HLGY is the lower-height ABS member of the 1554 family at 180 x 120 x 46 mm (45 mm on the part page), molded in RAL 7035 light gray with a gray lid. It is intended for indoor electronics and control projects that need a sealed, compact housing at a general purpose material grade.
ABS versions use general purpose material rated UL94-HB and are specified for indoor use. They are not UL listed but have been tested to and meet IP66, with an IK07 impact rating per IEC 62262:2021 and a recommended operating temperature of -20°C to +60°C (-4°F to +140°F).
The drawing gives inside dimensions of about 173.09 x 107.00 x 39.45 mm and a maximum PC board size of 106.68 x 167.13 mm. Molded DIN rail tabs, threaded M3 brass inserts, standoffs for #6 self-tapping screws and vertical guides for 1.5 mm boards cover most internal mounting needs, and a 1554HPL steel inner panel is available to order separately.
A two-piece tongue and groove lid with a replaceable one-piece silicone gasket keeps out oil, dust and water. Four self-captivating M4 stainless steel screws thread into corrosion resistant bushings, so the 1554HLGY can be opened and closed repeatedly. It ships shrink wrapped at 0.53 lbs (0.24 kg).
