The 1554HL2GYCL pairs a RAL 7035 light gray polycarbonate box with a clear polycarbonate lid in the reduced-height 180 x 120 x 46 mm format. A clear cover lets technicians read displays, LEDs or labels inside without breaking the seal, which is useful for monitoring equipment and field-installed electronics.
The clear lid carries a UL94V-0 rating. Like the other polycarbonate 1554 models, this enclosure is cUL and UL 508A listed under file #E65324, UV stabilized for outdoor use, and independently tested to IP66, IP67, IP68 and NEMA Type 4, 4X, 6, 6P, 12 and 13. It has an IK08 impact rating per IEC 62262:2021 and a recommended operating temperature of -40°C to +110°C (-40°F to +230°F).
Interior space is about 173.09 x 107.00 x 39.45 mm, with a maximum PC board size of 106.68 x 167.13 mm. Molded DIN rail tabs, threaded M3 brass inserts, #6 self-tapping standoffs and vertical guides for 1.5 mm boards are built in, and the 1554HPL steel inner panel can be ordered separately.
Sealing comes from a two-piece tongue and groove joint and a replaceable one-piece silicone gasket, shipped loose. Four self-captivating M4 stainless steel screws secure the lid into corrosion resistant bushings; lid holes thread on first installation. The assembly ships shrink wrapped at 0.6 lbs (0.27 kg).
