The 1554HL2GY shares the 180 x 120 mm footprint of the 1554H but stands only 46 mm tall (45 mm on the part page), giving a slimmer solid gray polycarbonate enclosure for boards and modules that do not need depth. Box and lid are both RAL 7035 light gray.
Solid gray polycarbonate carries a UL94-5VA flame rating. The enclosure is cUL and UL 508A listed under file #E65324, UV stabilized for outdoor use, and independently tested to IP66, IP67 and IP68 as well as NEMA Type 4, 4X, 6, 6P, 12 and 13. Impact rating is IK08 per IEC 62262:2021, and the recommended operating range is -40°C to +110°C (-40°F to +230°F).
Usable interior is approximately 173.09 mm long, 107.00 mm wide and 39.45 mm high, with a maximum PC board size of 106.68 x 167.13 mm. Mounting options include:
- Internal DIN rail mounting tabs
- Threaded M3 brass inserts and standoffs for #6 self-tapping screws
- Vertical PC card guides for 1.5 mm thick PC boards
- The 1554HPL steel inner panel, ordered separately
A gasketed tongue and groove lid is fastened by four self-captivating M4 stainless steel screws into corrosion resistant bushings (recommended torque 43-57 ozf-in / 30-40 cN-m). The 4.30 mm wall-mounting holes sit outside the gasket channel and also accept the 1554FT foot kit. Shipping weight is 0.6 lbs (0.27 kg).
