Designed for projects that want a tinted cover in a shallow housing, the 1554HL2GYSL combines a smoked polycarbonate lid with a RAL 7035 light gray polycarbonate box at 180 x 120 x 46 mm. It is aimed at OEMs and integrators building outdoor or washdown-rated electronics where a lower profile matters.
The smoked lid is rated UL94V-0. The enclosure is cUL and UL 508A listed (file #E65324), UV stabilized for outdoor use and independently tested to IP66, IP67 and IP68 and NEMA Type 4, 4X, 6, 6P, 12 and 13. Polycarbonate versions carry an IK08 impact rating per IEC 62262:2021, and Hammond recommends -40°C to +110°C (-40°F to +230°F) as the operating range.
Inside you have approximately 173.09 mm of length, 107.00 mm of width and 39.45 mm of height, with room for a PC board up to 106.68 x 167.13 mm. Components mount on molded DIN rail tabs, M3 brass inserts, #6 self-tapping standoffs or vertical 1.5 mm card guides; the 1554HPL steel inner panel is available separately.
The gasketed tongue and groove lid closes with four self-captivating M4 stainless steel screws into corrosion resistant bushings. The one-piece silicone gasket ships loose, and 1554HGASKET and SC576-50 are the listed replacements. Shipping weight is 0.6 lbs (0.27 kg).
