The 1554E2GYSL is a square polycarbonate watertight enclosure, 3.54 x 3.54 x 2.40 in (90 x 90 x 61 mm), with a light gray RAL 7035 box and a smoked polycarbonate lid. It suits outdoor electronics where indicators or a display should be visible through a tinted cover.
Being polycarbonate, it is UV stabilized for outdoor use, cUL and UL 508A listed (file E65324), and independently tested to NEMA Type 4, 4X, 6, 6P, 12 and 13 and to IP66, IP67 and IP68. The smoked lid is rated UL94 V-0. It carries an IK08 impact rating per IEC 62262:2021 and a recommended operating temperature of -40°C to +110°C (-40°F to +230°F).

A tongue and groove lid with a one-piece high temperature silicone gasket (supplied loose, replacement 1554EGASKET) guards against oil, dust and water. The four included M4 stainless steel lid screws are self-captivating and thread into corrosion resistant inserts; recommended torque is 43-57 oz f-in (30-40 cN-m). Four 4 mm mounting holes outside the gasket channel accept wall fasteners or the 1554FT foot kit. The 1554E2GYSL ships shrink wrapped at 0.35 lbs (0.16 kg) and is REACH and RoHS compliant.
