Hammond 1551WYFLBK 100x50x24mm Flanged IP68 Enclosure, Black

The 1551WYFLBK is a black 100 x 50 x 24 mm watertight polycarbonate enclosure with integrated wall-mounting flanges, the longest flanged model in the 1551W miniature series. It is designed for engineers and installers who need to surface-mount a sealed housing for a long, narrow circuit board.

The body and lid are robust polycarbonate with a satin texture finish, flame rated UL94 V-0. A replaceable silicone gasket protects against water and dust ingress, and the enclosure is designed to meet IP68 and suitable for outdoor use.

Without the flanges the body is 100 mm (3.94 in) long, 50 mm (1.97 in) wide and 24 mm (0.94 in) deep including the lid; the drawing shows 120.08 mm [4.73 in] overall across the flanges. Molded-in standoffs take #2 self-tapping screws and a board up to 94.5 x 44.5 mm. Torque #4 cover screws to 71-100 ozf.in (50-70 cN.m) and #2 internal screws to 21-28 ozf.in (15-20 cN.m).

Supplied with box, lid, gasket and four #4 plastite self-tapping cover screws. The light gray flanged equivalent is 1551WYFLGY, the black flangeless model is 1551WYBK, and replacement gaskets are 1551WYGASKET (2-pack). RoHS and REACH compliant, shrink wrapped, 0.11 lbs (0.05 kg).
