Hammond 1551NGY 35x35x15mm Light Gray ABS Shallow Enclosure

The 1551NGY is a light gray (RAL 7035) ABS enclosure measuring 35 x 35 x 15 mm, the lowest-profile square size in this part of the 1551 series. Use it to mount a very small printed circuit board or as a compact potting box.

The general purpose ABS plastic is UL94 HB flame rated. Box and lid close on a lap joint that protects against dust and splashing water, and the enclosure is designed to meet IP54.

Standoffs molded inside accept #2 x 3/16 in self-tapping board screws, available separately as 1551ATS100. The lid is secured with 2 included #4 x 1/2 in self-tapping screws, nickel plated to match grey enclosures, at 35-43 ozf.in (25-30 cN.m).

The 1551NGY is RoHS and REACH compliant and ships bagged at 0.04 lbs (0.02 kg). It is also offered in black (1551NBK), translucent blue (1551NTBU) and with a flanged lid (1551NFLGY). Avoid acetone, ketones and thread-locking compounds, which can damage ABS.
