The 1551NFLBK is a shallow black ABS enclosure with mounting flanges molded into the lid, so it can be fixed to a wall or suspended with a tie wrap. It suits small, thin circuit boards and potting applications where the housing has to be attached to something.
The body measures 35 x 35 x 15 mm (1.38 x 1.38 x 0.59 in), length not including the flange, and the drawing gives 51.30 mm (2.02 in) overall over the flanges. Inside you have 30.17 x 30.17 mm of floor and 11.00 mm of height, with a maximum P.C. board size of 29 x 29 mm.
Construction is general purpose ABS in black (RAL 9011), UL94 HB flame rated, with 2 mm (0.08 in) walls. The lap joint between box and lid protects against dust and splashing water, and the enclosure is designed to meet IP54. Board standoffs are molded in and accept #2 x 3/16 in self-tapping screws (1551ATS100, not included).
The 1551NFLBK includes box, flanged lid and 2 black plated #4 x 1/2 in self-tapping cover screws, with 35-43 ozf.in (25-30 cN.m) recommended torque. It is RoHS and REACH compliant and ships bagged at 0.04 lbs (0.02 kg). The grey equivalent is 1551NFLGY.
