Hammond 1550Z103FBK Black 98 x 64 x 34 mm Flanged Watertight Diecast Box

The 1550Z103FBK is a black textured flanged enclosure from the 1550ZF series: a thick-wall watertight diecast aluminum box with a strong spot-welded bottom flange. The ordering table gives a nominal 3.86 in (98 mm) x 2.52 in (64 mm) x 1.34 in (34 mm), and the part page lists 4.91 in x 2.54 in x 1.46 in (125 mm x 65 mm x 37 mm) overall with the flange. The polyester powder coat is applied inside and out with cleared areas around the internal grounding points, and it remains a lasting finish after machining. Four stainless steel Philips head M4 - 0.7 screws secure the 0.35 in (9 mm) lid outside the one-piece silicone gasket, which is rated -40°C to +150°C (-40°F to 302°F). Recommended torque is 5-7.5 lbf.in (50-75 cN.m), and a #6 self tapping ground screw fits inside.

The 1550Z103FBK is rated IP68, NEMA 4, 4X, 12 & 13 and IK08 per IEC62262, is cUL and UL listed under file #E71073, and is RoHS and REACH compliant. It weighs 0.53 lbs (0.24 kg) and ships with box, lid, silicone gasket and 4 cover screws.
