Hammond 1550Z103F 98 x 64 x 34 mm Flanged Watertight Diecast Box

The 1550Z103F is a flanged thick-wall watertight diecast aluminum enclosure. Its ordering table size is a nominal 3.86 in (98 mm) x 2.52 in (64 mm) with 1.34 in (34 mm) total depth, and the part page lists 4.91 in x 2.54 in x 1.46 in (125 mm x 65 mm x 37 mm) overall, including the spot-welded bottom flange that makes mounting easy. It suits compact controllers, sensor boards and connector interfaces for OEM and integration work.

The drawing gives an interior of 91.24 mm [3.59 in] long, 57.24 mm [2.25 in] wide and 28.60 mm [1.13 in] deep, and the maximum P.C. board size is 56.09 mm x 90.09 mm. Two piece tongue and groove construction protects against dust and water. The unpainted diecast aluminum alloy is vibra finished, easy to machine, and has no internal ribs.

The 0.35 in (9 mm) lid is held by four stainless steel Philips head M4 - 0.7 machine screws located outside the pre-formed silicone gasket; recommended torque is 5-7.5 lbf.in (50-75 cN.m). Replacement screws are SC1550Z103-50 (M4 - 0.7 x 20mm, 50 pack), and a #6 self tapping ground screw fits inside.

The 1550Z103F is rated IP68, NEMA 4, 4X, 12 & 13 and IK08 per IEC62262, is cUL and UL listed under file #E71073, and is RoHS and REACH compliant. It weighs 0.53 lbs (0.24 kg) and includes box, lid, silicone gasket and 4 cover screws.
