The 1550WNBK is the largest square format in this part of the 1550 Series: a 250 mm x 250 mm diecast aluminum enclosure in textured satin black powder coat, supplied with an IP66 gasket. It is intended for integrators and OEM teams building bigger electronic assemblies that need a rugged black metal housing with dust and water protection.
The satin black polyester powder paint is specified as tough and lasting even after machining, and black screws are included to keep the finished assembly uniform. Box and lid are die-cast aluminum alloy joined by a lap joint that resists dust and splashing water, with M3.5 x 0.6 x 12 mm stainless steel Philips head screws into factory tapped holes.
