Hammond 154H 4H 50mA Filter Choke, 300V Open Channel Mount

Part 154H is a channel-mounted D.C. reactor with 4H of inductance and a 50 ma. D.C. current rating. It belongs to the 153-159 Series of low to medium current filter chokes, which the manufacturer positions for high voltage power supply filtering. The 154H provides 4H at 50 ma. with 300 ohms of resistance, a middle ground in the 154 group between the high-inductance 20 ma. units and the 100 ma. 154M.

Winding resistance is 300 ohms (+/- 15%) and the maximum operating voltage is 300 V DC. Inductance is measured at the rated D.C. current; expect less inductance at slightly higher currents and more at lower currents, so size the choke to your actual load current.

Construction uses an economical open bracket channel mount. Units are vacuum impregnated with polyurethane varnish for quiet operation and long life, every unit is Hipot tested (100%) at 1,500 VAC, and leads are a minimum of 5" long.
