Hammond 1490MK30 30-Hole 22.5mm Sloped Consolet Enclosure, Type 12

The 1490MK30 is the largest 22.5 mm consolet in the 1490 series, with 30 holes for heavy duty oil tight pushbuttons, switches and pilot lights. It gives system integrators a single sloped operator station for complex machines or process lines, mounted on a wall or surface. For 30.5 mm devices the equivalent is the 1490K30.

Per the series ordering table the enclosure is 14.00 in H x 15.25 in W x 10.13 in D (356 x 387 x 257 mm); the part page lists a nominal 14 x 15.3 x 10.2 in (356 x 389 x 259 mm). The drawing shows a 14.37 x 15.62 in door with 0.89 in holes on 2.25 in centers and 0.25 in back mounting holes. It ships boxed at 19 lbs (8.62 kg).

The 16 gauge formed steel shell has smooth continuously welded seams and welded mounting brackets; mounting position gives the cover either a 30° or 60° slope. Its internally hinged, removable cover is designed to hold itself open during wiring and closes with captive screws into sealed wells over an oil resistant gasket. A bonding stud on the door and grounding stud on the enclosure are standard, and all surfaces are phosphatized and powder coated ANSI 61 gray.

The series holds UL 508A Type 12 and 13 (E65324) and CSA Type 12 and 13 (LR21001) listings and complies with NEMA Type 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP54, with appropriate components. It is also RoHS and REACH compliant.
