The 1490G10 is a ten-hole, 30.5 mm sloped consolet from the 1490 Series of Type 12 mild steel pushbutton enclosures. With a wide, shallow-height format of 7.25 in H x 13.00 in W x 6.75 in D (184 x 330 x 171 mm), it lays out a longer run of heavy duty oil tight pushbuttons, switches and pilot lights on an angled face for wall or surface mounting.
The drawing shows a 13.37 x 7.62 in door, 1.21 in holes on 2.25 in centres and 0.25 in holes in the welded mounting brackets. Depending on how the enclosure is mounted, the front cover slopes at either 30° or 60°.
The internally hinged removable cover is designed to hold open while the station is being wired, and closes with captive screws into sealed wells over an oil resistant gasket. The body is formed 16 gauge steel with smooth continuously welded seams, phosphatized and powder coated in ANSI 61 gray. A bonding stud on the door and grounding stud on the enclosure are provided.
The 1490G10 holds UL 508A Type 12 and 13 and CSA Type 12 and 13 ratings (UL File E65324, CSA LR21001) and complies with NEMA Type 12 and 13 and IEC 60529, IP54 with appropriate components. It ships at 10 lbs (4.54 kg). The 22.5 mm counterpart is 1490MG10.
