Hammond 1486G60SS 12x12x60-Inch Type 4X Stainless Wiring Trough

The 1486G60SS is the largest trough in the 1486SS Series: 12 in x 12 in in cross-section and 60 in long. This Type 4X wiring trough is designed to enclose and protect multiple wiring junctions from dirt, dust, oil and water while providing a measure of corrosion protection on long, heavily populated runs.

The body is formed 14 gauge 304 stainless steel with smooth continuously welded seams. A butt hinged cover is secured with easily operated screw clamps, and oil resistant gaskets are permanently secured. Trough and cover are natural stainless steel with a smooth brushed finish.

Nominal size is 12 in x 12 in x 60 in (305 mm x 305 mm x 1,524 mm). The drawing shows a 58.73 in opening, a 60.38 in door and a 13.50 in side-view overall height. At 88 lbs (39.92 kg) shipping weight, plan handling accordingly.

Twelve gauge external mounting feet are welded to the back, with 0.31 in holes spaced 12.75 in across and 29.38 in along the length on the drawing. Approvals are UL 870 Type 1, 12, 4, 4X and CSA Type 1, 12, 4, 4X (UL File E186830, CSA Cert. LL21312). The trough complies with NEMA Type 12, 4, 4X and IEC 60529 IP66 and is REACH and RoHS compliant.
