Five feet of 4 x 4 stainless protection: the 1486C60SS Type 4X wiring trough is designed to enclose and protect multiple wiring junctions from dirt, dust, oil and water while offering a measure of corrosion protection. It suits electricians, OEM machine builders and facilities teams who need a longer 4 in square trough in stainless steel.
Construction is formed 14 gauge 304 stainless steel with smooth continuously welded seams. The butt hinged cover closes with easily operated screw clamps against oil resistant gaskets that are permanently secured, and both trough and cover carry a natural stainless steel, smooth brushed finish.
The trough measures 4 in x 4 in x 60 in (102 mm x 102 mm x 1,524 mm). Per the drawing, the opening is 58.73 in long, the door is 60.38 in long and the side-view overall height is 5.50 in. Shipping weight is 29 lbs (13.15 kg).
Twelve gauge external mounting feet are welded to the back, with 0.31 in holes spaced 4.69 in across.
