Hammond 1486C18 4 x 4 x 18 in Type 4/12 Wiring Trough

The 1486C18 is an 18 in (457 mm) Type 4/12 wiring trough with a 4.00 in x 4.00 in section from the 1486 Series. It encloses and protects multiple wiring junctions from dirt, dust, oil and water, and suits electricians connecting nearby enclosures where a heavier conductor count needs the larger 4 x 4 profile.

Construction is formed 14 gauge steel with smooth continuously welded seams. The butt hinged cover uses easily operated stainless steel screw clamps and seals on permanently secured oil resistant gaskets, while 12 gauge external mounting feet are welded to the back. The trough and cover are powder coated in ANSI 61 gray.
