Hammond 1486B48SS 48-Inch 2.5x2.5 Type 4X Stainless Wiring Trough

The 1486B48SS is a four-foot Type 4X wiring trough in 304 stainless steel, measuring 2.5 in x 2.5 in x 48 in (64 mm x 64 mm x 1,219 mm). It is designed to enclose and protect multiple wiring junctions from dirt, dust, oil and water while providing a measure of corrosion protection, in a narrow profile for longer runs.

It is formed from 14 gauge 304 stainless steel with smooth continuously welded seams. The troughs and covers are natural stainless steel with a smooth brushed finish. A butt hinged cover is secured by easily operated screw clamps and seals on permanently secured, oil resistant gaskets.

The part drawing lists a 47.21 in top opening, a 1.71 in side opening and a 48.38 in by 2.88 in door, with 47.25 in x 1.75 in of clear space available on the door. The 0.31 in mounting holes are spaced 3.19 in across the feet.

The 12 gauge external mounting feet are welded to the back, giving a 4.00 in width across the feet. Shipping weight is 10 lbs (4.54 kg).
