Hammond 1486B30 2.5 x 2.5 x 30 in Type 4/12 Wiring Trough

At 30.00 in (762 mm) long, the 1486B30 is a mid-length member of the 1486 Series Type 4/12 wiring troughs with a 2.50 in x 2.50 in section. It is designed to enclose and protect multiple wiring junctions from dirt, dust, oil and water, and serves integrators running light conductor bundles along equipment or between panels.

The body is formed 14 gauge steel with smooth continuously welded seams. A butt hinged cover is secured by easily operated stainless steel screw clamps, oil resistant gaskets are permanently secured, and 12 gauge external mounting feet are welded to the back for surface mounting. Trough and cover are powder coated ANSI 61 gray.

Overall dimensions are 2.50 in (64 mm) H x 2.50 in (64 mm) D x 30.00 in (762 mm) L. The drawing shows a 29.21 in x 1.71 in opening, a 30.38 in x 2.88 in door and 0.31 in diameter mounting holes.

The series is rated UL 870 Type 1, 12, 4 and CSA Type 1, 12, 4, and complies with NEMA Type 12, 4 and IEC 60529 IP66. This part is covered by UL File E186830 and CSA Cert. LL21312, is RoHS and REACH compliant, and ships boxed at 9 lbs (4.08 kg).
