The 1485DW1 is a lay-in cut-off fitting for 6 x 6 N12 wireway, from the 1485 W1 Series. It is designed for field fabrication of a lay-in wireway section to a non-standard length: the body comes in two pieces, the installer cuts off one piece, shortens the cover and welds the parts together.
The fitting is steel with a gray finish and is supplied with one angle sealing plate. On the manufacturer drawing, the door is 13.50 in long and 6.33 in wide; front-view dimensions are 4.88 in, 4.25 in and 9.88 in; back-view dimensions are 14.25 in and 5.00 in; side-view dimensions include 5.95 in, 6.00 in and 5.86 in; the opposite side view shows 6.63 in and 3.31 in; and the bottom view gives 7.63 in. Holes are 0.28 in diameter.
