The 1485CW1 is a 4 x 4 lay-in cut-off fitting for N12 wireway in the 1485 W1 Series. It lets contractors and machine builders make up a lay-in wireway section to the length a job needs: the body is supplied in two pieces, one piece is cut off, the cover is shortened, and the two are welded together.
It is built of steel in a gray finish and ships with one angle sealing plate. The manufacturer drawing shows a door 13.50 in long and 4.33 in wide, front-view dimensions of 4.88 in, 4.25 in and 9.88 in, back-view dimensions of 14.25 in and 5.00 in, side-view dimensions of 2.75 in, 3.86 in and 4.00 in, a 4.63 in opposite side-view dimension and a 5.38 in bottom-view dimension. Holes are 0.28 in diameter.
