Hammond 1457NWP-10 1457N Flat Watertight End Panel Kit, 10-Pack

The 1457NWP-10 supplies watertight end panels and gaskets, 10 to a pack, for 1457 Series enclosures with part numbers beginning 1457N. Use it to replace worn or damaged panels, keep blanks on hand for custom machining, or support production runs of 1457N enclosures.

These are flat end panels with no mounting flanges, made from black die-cast aluminum. The series describes its end panels as rugged yet easy to machine diecast aluminum with full perimeter self-adhesive gaskets, so connector and switch cutouts can be added in-house.

In the series ordering table, 1457N enclosures use a 104.00 mm wide by 55.00 mm high extrusion, in 120.00 mm and 160.00 mm lengths: 1457N1201, 1457N1202, 1457N1601, 1457N1602 and their BK versions. The kit carries an IP65 rating.

Across the 1457 Series, each enclosure is supplied with its extruded body, diecast end panels, gaskets and hardware, and extra end panel kits are sold separately. Enclosure assembly uses thread forming screws, black zinc plated to ASTM B633-13, with a recommended screw torque of 5 lbf/in.

Packed in a bag, shipping weight 0.66 lbs (0.30 kg). RoHS and REACH compliant. The flanged equivalent is 1457NWPF-10, and the 2-pack of this kit is 1457NWP. Water-tight gaskets (1457NPG-10), EMI gaskets (1457NEG-10) and assembly screws (1457MS100) are listed separately.
