The 1457NEG-10 is a 10-pack of EMI/RFI replacement gaskets for 1457-EMI Series shielded enclosures whose part number begins with 1457N. Maintenance teams and OEM builders use them to restore the conductive seal between the diecast end panels and the extruded aluminum body after an enclosure has been opened, reworked or re-machined.
In the 1457-EMI Series the end panel gaskets are full perimeter conductive foam/fabric made of Ni/Cu (nickel/copper) with CPSA (conductive pressure sensitive adhesive), so they adhere to the panel and form a continuous conductive path around its edge. The spec sheet notes these EMI gaskets are not water-tight; if a sealed end is the priority, the water-tight gasket for the same enclosure is 1457NPG-10.
