Hammond 1457NWPF 1457N Flanged Watertight End Panel Kit, 2-Pack

The 1457NWPF is a 2-pack of flanged watertight end panels with gaskets for enclosures in the 1457 Series whose part numbers begin with 1457N. The integrated mounting flanges give the wall-mounting option, so it serves both as a like-for-like spare for flanged 1457N enclosures and as a way to make a flat-panel unit wall mountable.

Panels are black die-cast aluminum. Per the series copy, the end panels are rugged yet easy to machine diecast aluminum with full perimeter self-adhesive gaskets.

The series ordering table lists the 1457N extrusion at 104.00 mm wide and 55.00 mm high, in 120.00 mm and 160.00 mm lengths (1457N1201, 1457N1202, 1457N1601, 1457N1602 and BK versions). This kit carries an IP65 rating.

The 1457 enclosures themselves ship complete with extruded body, diecast end panels, gaskets and hardware; extra end panel kits such as this one are sold separately. When refitting panels, the series specifies thread forming assembly screws black zinc plated to ASTM B633-13 and a recommended torque of 5 lbf/in.

Shipping weight 0.13 lbs (0.06 kg), packed in a bag; RoHS and REACH compliant. The 10-pack is 1457NWPF-10 and the flat, non-flanged kit is 1457NWP. Replacement water-tight gaskets are 1457NPG-10, EMI gaskets 1457NEG-10 and assembly screws 1457MS100.
