Hammond 1456KH3WHCWW 10 x 8.3 in 15° Sloped Console, Walnut Sides

The 1456KH3WHCWW is a 10.00 in (254 mm) wide, 8.30 in (211 mm) deep sloped console from Hammond's walnut-sided 1456CWW family. A 15-degree top rises from 1.30 in (33 mm) at the front to 3.00 in (76 mm) at the rear, giving room for a row of controls, meters or a display across a mid-width panel. It is a fit for amateur radio, audio and instrumentation builders as well as OEMs producing desk-top equipment.

The sides are solid oiled walnut, each piece showing its own colour and grain, fixed to a black, ventilated base made of 0.057" steel. The 0.064" aluminum top panel is powder painted in a satin contempra grey (beige).

According to the drawing, the inner box length is 209.07 mm [8.23 in] and the inner box heights are 74.57 mm [2.94 in] at the rear and 31.91 mm [1.26 in] at the front. The 1456KH3WHCWW comes with its wooden sides, adhesive rubber feet and required hardware. Replacement 1421J6 plated cover screws (6-32 x 1/4 in, pack of 6) and 1421T3 black self-adhesive rubber feet (pack of 24) are listed as accessories.

Factory modification (milling, drilling, printing) is available, and solid models can be had in STEP or IGES. Shipping weight is 3.22 lbs (1.46 kg), packed in shrink wrap; RoHS and REACH compliant. Hammond notes the 1456CWW line will soon be discontinued as a stocked series and is available while quantities last.
