Hammond 1456KK4WHCWW 10 x 10.2 in 30° Sloped Console, Walnut Sides

The 1456KK4WHCWW is a near-square 30-degree sloped console, 10.00 in (254 mm) wide by 10.20 in (259 mm) deep, with a tall 4.00 in (102 mm) rear dropping to a 1.10 in (28 mm) front. The steep angle presents the top panel almost face-on to a seated operator, which makes it a good match for display- or meter-heavy desk-top instruments and control consoles.

It is built with solid oiled walnut side panels, each with a unique colour and grain, on a black, ventilated base made of 0.057" steel. The top panel is 0.064" aluminum with a powder painted satin contempra grey (beige) finish.

The drawing lists an inner box length of 256.69 mm [10.11 in] and inner box heights of 99.97 mm [3.94 in] at the rear and 25.54 mm [1.01 in] at the front, giving generous depth for rear-mounted boards and connectors. The 1456KK4WHCWW is supplied with the wooden sides, adhesive rubber feet and required hardware; 1421J6 plated cover screws (6-32 x 1/4 in self-tapping, pack of 6) and 1421T3 black self-adhesive rubber feet (pack of 24) are available as spares.

Hammond offers factory modification (milling, drilling, printing) and STEP or IGES solid models. Shipping weight is 2.76 lbs (1.25 kg) in shrink wrap, and the part is RoHS and REACH compliant. Hammond notes the 1456CWW line will soon be discontinued as a stocked series and is available while quantities last.
