Hammond 1456CE3WHCWW 4 x 5.5 in 30° Sloped Console, Walnut Sides

The 1456CE3WHCWW takes the compact 4.00 in (102 mm) wide by 5.50 in (140 mm) deep footprint of the 1456CWW range and gives it a steeper 30-degree slope. The rear stands 3.00 in (76 mm) tall while the front stays low at 1.10 in (28 mm), angling the panel up toward the operator for easier reading of meters or small displays.

Construction combines solid oiled walnut side panels with a black, ventilated base made of 0.057" steel. Every walnut piece has a unique colour and grain. The top panel is 0.064" aluminum finished in powder painted satin contempra grey (beige).

From the drawing, the inner box length is 136.45 mm [5.37 in] and the inner box heights are 74.57 mm [2.94 in] at the rear and 26.25 mm [1.03 in] at the front, so the 1456CE3WHCWW offers noticeably more rear headroom than its 15-degree sibling. It comes with the wooden sides, adhesive rubber feet and required hardware. Replacement plated cover screws are 1421J6 (pack of 6, 6-32 x 1/4 in self-tapping) and spare black self-adhesive feet are 1421T3 (pack of 24).

Factory modification (milling, drilling, printing) is available and solid models are offered in STEP or IGES. Shipping weight is 1.24 lbs (0.56 kg) in shrink wrap; the part is RoHS and REACH compliant. Hammond notes the 1456CWW line will soon be discontinued as a stocked series and is available while quantities last.
