Hammond 1455T2201BU 165 x 220 mm Blue Anodized Enclosure, Metal Ends

The 1455T2201BU is a blue anodized extruded aluminum enclosure from the 1455 Series with metal end panels, measuring 220 mm long by 165 mm wide. Designed to house PC boards or equipment interfacing electronics, it accepts a board up to 219 mm long and 159.5 mm wide, and suits OEM engineers who need front and rear panels that can be machined for connectors, displays or controls.

The body is extruded 6063 aluminum with a minimum wall thickness of 0.06 in (1.5 mm), finished in blue anodize. Boards slide horizontally into internal slots extruded into the body, and the extrusion is designed for a 160 mm wide board. This size includes a removable sliding plate. Each end takes a flat aluminum end panel color matched to the housing, framed by a black open plastic bezel. The drawing notes the bezels are made of polycarbonate.
