The 1455T2202 is the longest T-size body in the 1455 Series offered with plastic end panels: a clear anodized extruded aluminum enclosure 220 mm long and 165 mm wide. It is aimed at electronics designers and OEM builders who need to house a PC board up to 219 mm long and 159.5 mm wide, or package equipment interfacing hardware.
Construction is extruded 6063 aluminum with a minimum wall thickness of 0.06 in (1.5 mm) and a clear anodize finish. The extrusion is designed for a 160 mm wide PC board, which mounts horizontally by sliding into internal slots. This model is listed with a removable sliding plate. Black ABS closed bezels close both ends, and the part data gives an IP54 rating.
