The door opening is 9.50 in high by 3.50 in wide. A bonding stud on the cover and a grounding stud on the enclosure are provided.
The 1438D is rated UL 508A Type 12 and 13 and CSA Type 12 and 13, and complies with NEMA Type 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP54. Cover and body are phosphatized and finished in ANSI 61 gray recoatable powder coating. Shipping weight is 5 lbs (2.27 kg) in a box.
