Part number 1437MS16D is the four-hole, 22.5mm member of the 1437SS Series of extra deep stainless pushbutton enclosures, built in 316 stainless steel. It is intended for standard heavy duty oil tight pushbuttons, switches and pilot lights, making it a good fit for machine builders and plant electricians who need a taller operator station that keeps out dirt, dust, oil and water.
The body is formed from 16 gauge steel and finished in natural stainless with a smooth brushed surface. Seams are continuously welded and smooth. The cover is held by captive screws that thread into sealed wells and is sealed with an oil resistant gasket and adhesive. A bonding stud is fitted to the door and a grounding stud to the enclosure.

The 1437MS16D carries UL file E65324 and CSA certificate LR21001, is REACH and RoHS compliant, and ships boxed at 3 lbs (1.36 kg).
