Hammond 1427NCGPG48G PG48 Gray Nylon Liquid-Tight Cordgrip

The 1427NCGPG48G is a gray (RAL 7035) PG48 nylon cordgrip for the heaviest cable in the 1427NCG PG range, from 37 mm (1.46 in) to 44 mm (1.73 in) in diameter. It provides a liquid-tight, strain-relieved entry where cable enters or leaves an enclosure, in a color that suits gray housings.

An NBR (nitrile rubber) seal behind a large opening accepts a wide range of diameters, and the strain relief elements tighten in a circular sequence on the sealing ring to grip the cable without twisting or damaging it. Each part includes a nylon locknut and an EPDM o-ring.

Use the cordgrip with the smallest maximum diameter that will fit the cable. The torque values are a guide and can vary depending on the application.

The 1427NCG series is designed to meet NEMA Type 4, 4X, 6, 6P, 12 and 13 and provides IP68 protection. This gland is UL listed, rated UL94 V-2 for flammability, and RoHS and REACH compliant. It operates from -40°C to 100°C static (up to 120° instantaneous) and -20°C to 80°C dynamic (up to 100° instantaneous).
