Hammond 1427BCGPG29 25 mm Cable PG29 Nickel Plated Brass Cordgrip, 18

The 1427BCGPG29 is a PG29 liquid-tight cordgrip made from nickel plated brass. Designed for the point where cable enters or leaves an enclosure, it serves electricians, integrators and OEM engineers routing large power and control cables.

The gland accepts cable from 18 mm (0.71 in) to 25 mm (0.98 in) in diameter. An NBR (nitrile rubber) seal and large opening accept a wide range of diameters, while the strain relief elements tighten in a circular sequence on the sealing ring to secure the cable without twisting or damaging it. Choose the cordgrip with the smallest maximum diameter that fits.

The 1427BCGPG29 installs in a 37 mm (1.46 in) mounting hole. Outer length (L) is 31 mm (1.22 in) and inner thread length (T) is 8 mm (0.31 in). A locknut and EPDM o-ring are included. The PG29 guide torque is 8–10 N-m for the sealing nut and 9–11 N-m for the locknut; actual values can vary depending on the application.

The series is designed to meet NEMA Type 4, 4X, 6, 6P, 12 and 13 with protection to IP68 and is UL listed. It works from -40C to +100C with temporary heat resistance up to 120C. RoHS and REACH compliant; bag packed at 0.28 lbs (0.13 kg).
