The 1426S-B is a 12 in wide x 6 in deep x 4 in high (305 x 152 x 102 mm) metal instrument enclosure in satin blue with a satin black front panel. Like the beige 1426S, it pairs a long 12 in front panel with a shallow 6 in depth, suited to instruments with many front controls but modest internal depth.
The top and bottom are 20 gauge steel for strength, finished in satin gulf blue powder coat. The front and rear panels are easy-to-machine 0.064 in thick aluminum: the front panel is satin black and the rear panel matches the satin blue case color. The rear panel and the bottom of the enclosure are vented.
Each 1426S-B includes four 6-32 x 1/4 in self-tapping Phillips nickel plated screws and four self-adhesive rubber feet. Replacement screws are available as 1421J6 (pack of six 6-32 Philips head screws) and replacement rubber feet as 1421T9.
