Hammond 1426Q-B 11x11.7x5.5 Inch Satin Blue Vented Instrument Enclosure

The 1426Q-B is the satin blue version of the largest 1426 size, measuring 11 in wide x 11.7 in deep x 5.5 in high (279 x 297 x 140 mm) with a satin black front panel. Its 11.7 in depth and 5.5 in height give the most internal room in the series for instruments built around larger boards and components.

The top and bottom are 20 gauge steel for strength, finished in satin gulf blue powder coat. The front and rear panels are easy-to-machine 0.064 in thick aluminum: the front panel is satin black and the rear panel matches the satin blue case color. The rear panel and the bottom of the enclosure are vented.

Each 1426Q-B includes four 6-32 x 1/4 in self-tapping Phillips nickel plated screws and four self-adhesive rubber feet. Replacement screws are available as 1421J6 (pack of six 6-32 Philips head screws) and replacement rubber feet as 1421T9.

Listed dimensions are width 11.00 in (279 mm), depth 11.70 in (297 mm) and height 5.50 in (140 mm). The enclosure ships shrink wrapped at 5.35 lbs (2.43 kg), is RoHS and REACH compliant, and can be factory modified (milling, drilling, printing) on quotation, with STEP or IGES solid models available. The same size is also offered as 1426Q (beige / off white).
