Hammond 1422N4SSB12FQT 60x48x12 In 304 Stainless Two-Door Floormount Enclosure

The 1422N4SSB12FQT is a Type 4X two-door floormount enclosure in 304 stainless steel, and the compact 60 x 48 x 12 size of the 1422 N4 QT SS series, measuring 60.13 x 48.06 x 12.69 in (1,527 x 1,221 x 322 mm). It is designed to house electrical, electronic, hydraulic or pneumatic controls and instruments where equipment may be hosed down, stay very wet or face serious corrosion.

The body is formed 12 gauge stainless steel with smooth, continuously welded seams and no knockouts, cutouts or holes. Its two continuously hinged doors close with quarter turn latches and have provision for padlocking; either door can be removed by pulling its stainless steel hinge pin. A seamless poured-in place gasket and a formed lip on the doors and top of the opening exclude flowing liquids and contaminants. 12 in floor stands are welded on, and heavy duty stainless steel lifting eyebolts come with reinforcing support angles.

The removable 10 gauge inner panel is 56 x 44 in (1,422 x 1,118 mm), finished in white powder coating and installed on panel supports and collar studs; the center post is removable for easier installation. The drawing shows a door opening of 45.31 in wide by 57.38 in high, 12.00 in of usable depth and 72.13 in overall height including floor stands. Bonding and grounding studs are provided for each door, along with a literature pocket.
