Hammond 1422N4S16D12F 60x60x12 Two-Door 316 Stainless Floormount Enclosure

With a square 60 x 60 in face, the 1422N4S16D12F gives control-panel builders a wide, shallow Type 4X cabinet that stands on its own welded 12 in floor stands. It is designed to house electrical, electronic, hydraulic or pneumatic controls and instruments in wet, hosed-down or corrosive locations, and is formed from 12 gauge 316 stainless steel.

Exact body dimensions are 60.13 in H x 60.06 in W x 12.69 in D (1,527 x 1,526 x 322 mm), with 72.13 in overall height shown on the drawing. Two 28.00 in wide doors open onto a pair of 26.55 in wide door openings, each 57.38 in high, and the drawing gives 12.06 in of usable depth. The supplied 10 gauge inner panel is 56.00 x 56.00 in (1422 x 1422 mm) in white powder coating; the center post is removable so the panel can go in easily, and it seats on panel supports and collar studs.

Construction follows the 1422 N4 SS pattern: smooth continuously welded seams with no knockouts, a formed lip on the doors and opening top, a seamless poured-in place gasket, continuous hinges with pull-out stainless steel hinge pins, heavy duty stainless steel clamps and padlock provision. Stainless lifting eyebolts with reinforcing support angles are fitted for handling the 570 lb (258.55 kg) skid-packed unit.

Ratings for the 1422N4S16D12F are UL 508A and CSA Type 3R, 4, 4X and 12 (UL File E65324, CSA LR21001), with compliance to NEMA Type 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP66. It is RoHS and REACH compliant, and includes bonding and grounding studs for each door plus a literature pocket.
