The 1418N4SSX24QT is a Type 4X freestanding enclosure measuring 72.06 x 31.06 x 24.06 in (1,830 x 789 x 611 mm), formed from 12 gauge 304 stainless steel. As the mid-width model of the 1418 N4 FS QT SS Series, it is designed to house electrical, electronic, hydraulic or pneumatic controls with provision for panel mounting or rack mounting of equipment where washdown, wet conditions or serious corrosion must be handled.
The enclosure has smooth, continuously welded seams without knockouts, cutouts or holes and a natural brushed stainless finish. The door rides on a heavy gauge continuous hinge and is secured with quarter turn latches over a seamless poured-in-place gasket. Heavy duty stainless steel lifting eyebolts with reinforcing support angles are supplied.

Mounting channels welded to the inside of the enclosure accept optional inner panels or rack equipment rails, and a grounding stud in the enclosure plus a bonding stud on the door are provided. Ratings: UL 508A and CSA Type 3R, 4, 4X and 12; complies with NEMA Type 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP66; REACH and RoHS compliant. It ships on a skid with a shipping weight of 365 lbs (165.56 kg). 316 stainless equivalent: 1418N4S16X24QT.
